Obscure Sound reacts to "Dirty Persuasion"
Music blog Obscure Sound featured our lead single "Dirty Persuasion" in their latest review, praising our "dreamy post-punk vigor" and dynamic vocal presence.

We're thrilled to share that Obscure Sound, one of the most respected independent music blogs, has featured our lead single "Dirty Persuasion" in their latest review roundup.
The Full Review
A dreamy post-punk vigor consumes across "Dirty Persuasion," the debut single from Undead Living, a duo comprising Avery Deering and Harrison Reed. Coming ahead of their debut EP, out this summer, "Dirty Persuasion" excels in its moody guitar lines and steady post-punk pulse.
Deering's dynamic vocal presence enthralls alongside, progressing seamlessly from haunting introspection in the verses into a more elongated yearning — "all night long, I dream." The "run away / never gonna get away," drive for escapism continues the compelling arsenal, furthered by stylish guitar work past the three-minute turn. "Dirty Persuasion" is a fantastic debut from this quickly ascending duo, who have been creating music together since 2022.

Our Response
This recognition from Obscure Sound is incredibly meaningful to us. The blog has been championing independent and alternative music for years, and to be featured alongside other talented artists is both humbling and exciting.
The review perfectly captures what we were trying to achieve with "Dirty Persuasion" - that balance between haunting introspection and driving energy that defines our sound. We're particularly pleased that they picked up on the escapism themes that run throughout the track.
