Behind the Scenes: Studio Session Insights

Recording our debut EP "Seasonal Confession" has been an incredible journey, and we wanted to share some insights into our creative process and what it's been like working with producer Michael Briggs at Civil Audio.

The studio sessions began in February and have been an intensive but rewarding experience. Michael's approach to production perfectly complements our vision for the EP. He understands the nuances of post-punk and gothic rock, and his technical expertise has helped us achieve the sound we've been chasing.

One of the most interesting aspects of the recording process has been experimenting with vintage equipment. We've been using a combination of analog and digital techniques to create a sound that feels both timeless and contemporary. The studio's collection of vintage synthesizers and effects pedals has been particularly inspiring.

The Creative Process

Avery's vocal approach has evolved significantly during these sessions. We've been exploring different techniques to capture the emotional intensity that's central to our music. Harrison's bass work has also taken on new dimensions, with layered arrangements that add depth to our sound.

The collaborative process with Michael has pushed us to explore new territories musically. He's encouraged us to take risks and try things we might not have considered on our own. Some of our best moments on the EP came from these experimental sessions.

Technical Insights

We're currently in the final mixing stages, and we couldn't be happier with how everything is coming together. The EP truly captures the essence of what Undead Living is about, and we can't wait for everyone to hear it.

Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes content as we approach the release date!
